Toms Donates 10,000 Pairs Of Shoes To Ghana In Honor Of Abraham Attah

Abraham Attah made a statement in Toms Shoes on the Oscars red carpet. The “Beasts of No Nation” star wore a black pair to the big event, and now the brand is donating 10,000 pairs of shoes to children in need in Ghana.

The brand posted to Instagram, “We’re so grateful for Abraham Attah’s choice to wear #TomsShoes on the red carpet last night. We’re excited to give 10,000 pairs of shoes on his behalf to children of need in his home country of Ghana. Giving looks good on you, Abraham!”

“Beasts of No Nation” was Attah’s first film and breakout role. During the ceremony, he took to the stage to present with “Room” actor Jacob Tremblay, who melted hearts with his memorable fan moment with Chris Rock, specifically about his performance in “Madagascar.” “Thanks Chris, loved you in ‘Madagascar,'” he said with a big smile.
