Celebrities React To Leo’s Win, Lady Gaga’s Performance & Other Oscar Moments

It was quite the night at the Oscars, and people are still buzzing about the show. From Leonardo DiCaprio‘s big win as Best Actor, Lady Gaga‘s powerful performance of “Til It Happens to You” and Chris Rock’s opening monologue, the stars had a lot to say on social media about the show.

Perhaps the biggest news of the night was the diversity controversy surrounding the nominees for the second year in a row. Chris Rock hosted the night, and social media didn’t hold back on addressing the #OscarsSoWhite and supporting the comedian.

Another major moment? Lady Gaga took to the stage to sing her Oscar-nominated song “Til It Happens to You” about sexual assault survivors from the documentary “The Hunting Ground.” The audience in the Dolby Theatre was in tears and on their feet supporting the singer, who brought victims of assault on stage with her. Fans also took to Twitter to speak out and support Gaga’s moving performance.

Leonardo DiCaprio’ big win, and his speech about climate change, also got people buzzing on Twitter. Even Kanye West gave a shout-out.

Last but not least, the stars took to Twitter to address Sylvester Stallone’s loss for Best Supporting Actor. Notably Arnold Schwarzenegger shared a video calling his friend the real winner.
