Sarah Jessica Parker, Louise Camuto Recognized By Mother’s Day Council

Two big shoe players, Sarah Jessica Parker and Louise Camuto, are among the honorees for this year’s Mother’s Day Awards.

Camuto, the chief creative officer of Camuto Group, and Sarah Jessica Parker, who launched SJP Collection in 2015, will receive the award given by the National Mother’s Day Council. The recognition honors women who have extraordinary careers while also being an outstanding mom.

In addition to Camuto and Parker’s awards, Jay Mangano, an inventor and president of Ingenious Designs (and the subject of the new film “Joy,” starring Jennifer Lawrence) and Gemma Lionello, the EVP and general merchandise manager of beauty at Nordstrom, are also being honored.

The annual awards will be hosted May 5 in New York City and will fundraise for Save the Children. Sen. Hillary Clinton, Meryl Streep and Vera Wang have all been past recipients of the awards.
