A star-studded lineup rocked generous hearts and pockets to the tune of $800,000 for a good cause.
Jeremy Piven, Tony Goldwyn, Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas and other celebrities attended the John Varvatos Stuart House Benefit on Sunday outside of the designer’s West Hollywood, Calif., boutique for a concert and auction that raised funds for the Rape Treatment Center at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center.
“Since we launched it in 2002, the benefit has raised over $7 million,” Varvatos said. “Last year, we raised more than $1.175 million. With the $800,000 we raised today, we plan to beat last year’s total when the online auction closes on April 26.”
The benefit continues with an auction on Charitybuzz.com through Tuesday.

The event featured a one-of-a-kind performance led by Sammy Hagar, who was backed by bassist and fellow ex-Van Halen member Michael Anthony, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Vic Johnson for a set loaded with Hagar hits.
“I am honored to have the iconic artist Sammy Hagar perform on this exceptional day, to support the kids. I’m also very proud to of our long-term relationship with Stuart House,” Varvatos said.
Hagar’s guitar was autographed and included in a live auction after the set concluded.
“Over the years, I’ve become familiar with the event through John [Varvatos], and many of my friends who’ve supported it,” Hagar said. “So when John asked me to perform, I didn’t even look at my schedule — it was an absolute and immediate ‘yes!’ I applaud the important work they’re doing and will continue to support Stuart house in the future.”
Other supporters included Tyler Hoechlin, Peter Facinelli, Isabelle Fuhrman, Stella Maeve, Jesse Metcalfe, LeVar Burton, Tommy Chong, Gene Simmons, Cheap Trick, Tamera Taylor, Natalie Morales, Bill Bellamy, Melina Kanakaredes, Bob Harper and more.
In an interview with FN at the event, Varvatos said he’s focused on 2017’s soiree.
“You think about what’s next — how to do things bigger and better next year,” he explains. “This is part of our DNA.”
