Art Basel, amfAR in Hong Kong: Spot the Stars’ Shoes

Hong Kong had its moment in the fashion spotlight this weekend with the kickoff of two high-profile events: the amfAR gala and Art Basel Hong Kong. With a bevy of big names and faces at the two events, including Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Michelle Yeoh, Gwyneth Paltrow and Susan Sarandon, it was also a good weekend for shoe-spotting.

The amfAR gala on Saturday evening, hosted by chair Kenneth Cole, was the first time the event had taken place in Hong Kong. Kate Moss wore a dark, ethereal dress with simple single-strap platforms.

Also seen: Victoria Beckham wearing head-to-toe white, which stood out among the sea of dark gowns.

Chinese model Liu Wen made a notable shoe choice with her nude pumps accented with gold.

Gwyneth Paltrow (in Marc Jacobs) and Naomi Campbell were also on hand for the amfAR party, as was Paris Hilton.

Robin Thicke performed “Blurred Lines” — just days after he and producer Pharrell were ordered to pay $7.4 million in royalties to Marvin Gaye’s family for copyright infringement.

At the glitzy Art Basel show, Susan Sarandon and Renzo Russo were spotted.
