Under Armour’s Jordan Spieth Talks Texas Barbecue, Homeownership Ahead Of Masters

Jordan Spieth rocked the golf world last year, when he won both the Masters Tournament and the U.S. Open back to back, and in the process challenged records set decades ago by Tiger Woods. At the 2016 Masters this week in Augusta, Ga., Spieth is again suiting up in gear from his sponsor Under Armour, including items from the brand’s first full golf shoe collection, which the 23-year-old athlete helped to create.

“It’s been a great experience to be involved in the development of Under Armour’s first golf footwear line, and I’ve learned a lot about how important my gear is to my game,” said Spieth, who signed with the brand in 2013. In addition to his design assists, the golfer also has been busy crisscrossing the globe, playing in Abu Dhabi in January and most recently in Houston.

And the Texas native has plenty more to come. He told Footwear News he’s looking forward to competing in the Olympic Games in Brazil this summer, and hopes to help Team USA take home the Ryder Cup in September. Here are a few more things this pro enjoys.
