Two American icons have come together for a special holiday ’16 collab.
To execute a luxury take on skate classics, Horween Leather Co., the 111-year-old leather company based out of Chicago, reimagined two acclaimed Vans silhouettes.
The Vault by Vans x Horween collection boasts lavish iterations of the Sk8-Hi and Old Skool.

“Vans used a long-lasting cup sole construction to match the traits of the leather. That provides a worn-in feel over time and durability in each pair of shoes,” said Nathaniel Iott, Vans’ director of footwear product design.
The six-shoe holiday pack features Horween leather uppers in a range of rich colors, with contrasting white soles. The Sk8-Hi Cup LX comes in black, Timber and Parisian blue; and the Old Skool Cup LX will be offered in navy, Bone #12 and Dark Steel.
The shoes are slated to hit shelves on Dec. 10 and will retail from $150 to $175.
