Virgin America has created a sneaker that brings nearly all of its first class amenities to your feet.
Created in tandem with Eleven Inc. and SearchnDesign of Milan, the one-of-a-kind Virgin America “First Class” sneaker introduces new levels of functionality to footwear. WiFi? Check. Mood lighting? Yes, it’s got that, too. These shoes even feature a built-in USB phone charger and a video display to provide the full first-class experience.
The Virgin America “First Class” high-top sneaker was handcrafted in Milan with white Italian leather. It features stainless steel hardware and a rechargeable battery with up to three hours of battery life, so you can take full advantage of the shoe’s high-tech capabilities.

Much like actually flying in first class, these aviation-inspired sneakers come with a price tag to match. There’s just one pair in existence worldwide, and it’s currently up for auction on eBay. Bidding has already surpassed $1,000 with more than a week left on the listing, so you’ll need to dig deep in your pockets for a chance to own these.
All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Soles 4 Souls charity, a nonprofit organization that has collected and distributed 26 million pairs of shoes since 2006.
