Abigail Spencer took a contemporary approach to dressing for Step Up’s Inspiration Awards — with a sleek shoe twist.
On Friday, Spencer attended the annual awards event for the nonprofit — which provides mentorship programs for young women — in sharp Christian Louboutin pumps. The “Suits” actress‘ black leather pair featured a minimalist D’Orsay silhouette, complete with pointed toes and curved separated counters.
Thin heels totaling at least 4 inches in height added a formal finish to Spencer’s footwear for the occasion in Los Angeles. However, they also included Louboutin’s signature bright red soles, bringing the neutral pair a vibrant pop of color.
Pumps like Spencer’s are favored for their sleek take on the classic pointed-toe pump, thanks to their cutout appearance and ventilated silhouette. Stylist Christina McNown elevated the minimalist pair with a knotted brown leather belt, which was further elevated by numerous gold necklaces strung with pendants including twinkling diamonds and pointed quartz. The “Sweet Life” actress” look was complete with a black laser-cut Alaïa handbag, bringing her outfit an elegant finish.
Spencer’s shoe style is sharp and sleek. For red carpets, the “This Is Where I Leave You” actress regularly wears pointed-toe pumps, platforms and strappy sandals in neutral, embellished and vibrant tones, hailing from top labels like Louboutin and Miu Miu.
