Shields is typically known to go for elegant shoes that are also comfortable when it comes to high-profile events. In April, the actress donned a pair of sparkly silver metallic wedge sandals to the Kit Kat Club at the August Wilson Theatre in New York City. The shoes featured an open-toe design and a chunky toe strap adorned with silver crystals and metallic wedge heels as the finisher. Also in April, the former model participated in the Balletcore trend by showcasing bright pink ballet flats during an appearance of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

About the Shoes

The footwear chosen by Shields featured a bright red colorway and an angular pointed-toe design. Kept minimalistic to complete her monochromatic look, the shoe was completed by a slim stiletto heel with an estimated height of between 3 and 4-inches, and a red lining along the footbed.

Pointed-toe pumps have become a go-to choice for many celebrities in recent weeks including Selena Gomez, Olivia Wilde and Serena Williams.

About Pointed-Toe Pumps

While the style has experienced some updates over the decades, pointed-toe pumps are a classic model that blends together elements of vintage and modern-day fashion, with the silhouette being praised for its versatility and ease of styling. Regarded as a preferred shoe for red carpets and formal occasions, the popularity of the slim stiletto heel started re-emerging again at the start of the 2020s. Many brands such as Stuart Weitzman, Chanel and Gucci offer a wide range of pointed-pumps throughout the season.
