Inside The Wardrobe Of Celebrity Stylist Cher Coulter

The celebrity stylist dresses some of the top stars in the business, including Kate Bosworth, Elizabeth Olsen, Sienna Miller, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Nicole Richie and Kirsten Dunst. So it’s no surprise her personal shoe collection is worth talking about, too.

Here, Coulter reveals her love for designer Gianvito Rossi, the pair she will never part with and her biggest shoe splurge.

First designer purchase: “Balenciaga sandals I bought in 2007.”

Most unique item in my closet: “I have a pair of wild Loewe shoes that my dear friend Stuart Vevers designed while he was creative designer [for the brand]. They have a lot going on and are totally unique.”

Next purchase: “A summer shoe with a two-inch heel.”

Go-to casual style: “Nike sneakers in simple black.”

Shoe trend I refuse to try: “Sneakers on platforms.”

Favorite weekend look: “A sneaker or some kind of short black boot.”

Best pair of shoes for red-carpet events: “A simple nude sandal with a strap over the toes and around the ankle. Gianvito Rossi does a great simple-strap shoe.”

Celebrity whose closet I’d like to raid: “Kate Moss. Her style is timeless and her collection of vintage fashion is perfection, so that’s what I would love to see up close.”

My newest shoe designer discovery: “Gianvito Rossi. His shoes are always comfortable and fashionable without being aggressive or over the top. He really thinks about what a woman can wear day to night. The cuts are flattering, and the colors are always timeless.”

Closet organization advice: “My suggestion to people is to clear out things you haven’t worn in a year. Sell the items and then buy something you love with the cash. Don’t hoard.”
