Chrissy Teigen is passing her time at home in an unconventional but entertaining way this week.
The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model channeled her best version of Cher last night in an outfit inspired by the singer’s “Hot Dance” workout video from the 1990s. In an attempt to recreate Cher’s look on social media, Teigen layered a lacy bralette and black briefs under an embellished sheer catsuit with a curly black wig for full effect.
“When texting a meme spirals of control. #cherisagoddess #welovecher #cheringiscaring #hotgirlshit,” wrote Teigen’s makeup artist Nova Kaplan on Instagram.
Earlier in the week, the cookbook author decided to switch up her style this weekend as she hit the local store, donning a standout purple wig to top off her chic seasonal ensemble. Teigen matched her bright new hairdo to a classic white slip dress layered under an Envelope 1976 trench coat that retails for over $850 on the brand’s website.

As if her outfit wasn’t bold enough, Teigen also included snakeskin gloves courtesy of Dries Van Noten and a Balenciaga crossbody purse. And, in a classic move for the media personality, she then topped off her outfit with the chicest thigh-high boots. The velvety-soft pair comes from Gianvito Rossi and is a staple in her closet thanks to their slouchy nature and easy-to-style colorway. As for Teigen herself, the media personality‘s own footwear and apparel closet includes an endless list of designer names such as Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Valentino and Aquazzura to name a few. Beyond her personal style choices, the best-selling cookbook author previously appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and serves as an ambassador for Procter & Gamble; she has modeled in campaigns for the likes of Ugg, The Gap, Revolve, Quay Eyewear and more throughout her impressive career.
