Cynthia Nixon was photographed filming “And Just Like That” in New York on Friday. The “Sex and the City” star was joined on set by fellow thespian Rosie O’Donnell. The pair were filming the third season of the show, which is set to release sometime in 2025.
For the shoot day, Nixon stepped into a pair of summery deep blue suede wedges. The dynamic style featured textural suede uppers and deep brown wood wedges that offered the footwear silhouette stability and a contrasting neutral base. The heels of Nixon’s wedges stood at 2 to 3 inches in height, providing the thespian a manageable boost. The “Ratched” star’s footwear offered her ensemble a complimentary pop of color, creating a playful and youthful touch.
Accompanying her vibrant footwear, Nixon was styled in an emerald green maxi dress in a breezy oversized style. The garment featured a dynamic geometric print along with baggy long sleeves, ample pocket detailing throughout and a sophisticated collared neckline. Nixon’s dress was belted at the waist to further define her silhouette, combatting the baggy nature of the garment. Rounding out her jewel-toned look, Nixon was styled in an array of dainty jewelry. “And Just Like That” is a spin-off of Max’s hit franchise “Sex and the City.” Released in 2021, “And Just Like That” features a nearly identical cast to the show’s original main players including Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays the ever-fashionable Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon, who depicts Miranda Hobbes and Kristin Davis who depicts Charlotte York. New additions to the show include Sara Ramirez’s polarizing portrayal of Che Diaz and Nicole Ari Parker’s Lisa Todd Wexley. Both the original and rebooted series are hallowed for their witty banter and epic on-screen fashion moments.
