Danielle of K-pop group NewJeans attended the opening of a Yves Saint Laurent Beauté pop-up store in Seoul on Friday. The singer has been an ambassador for the brand since March.
The 18-year-old songstress stepped out in a pair of towering black platform sandal heels. Styled with sheer black tights, the footwear featured satin black uppers, rounded open toes and lofty platform soles that gave Danielle a large boost.
The style was secured to the K-Pop idol’s feet thanks to thin but sturdy straps that sat across the tops of her toes and looped through gold buckle closures. 4 to 5-inch block heels rounded out the sky-high set.

Going grunge, Danielle shed her school-girl persona for an edgier appearance. The “ETA” singer’s look was comprised of a black ruched mini dress featuring an asymmetrical hem. The dress was layered underneath a cropped leather jacket, adding that aforementioned grunge touch, which included contrasting white stitching and a zipper closure.
NewJeans is a South Korean girl group comprised of members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein formed under Hybe Entertainment. The group officially debuted in 2022 with the single “Attention” and has since risen to superstardom thanks to tracks like “Hype Boy” and “Super Shy.” The K-pop act is no stranger to the fashion world. The band recently performed at the 2023 Lollapalooza, making them the first female K-pop group to grace the coveted music festival’s stage.
The oldest member of the group Minji was appointed as a global brand ambassador for Chanel in Feb. while Vietnamese-Australian member Hanni was tapped as a brand ambassador for Gucci in 2022. She is also a global make-up ambassador for Armani Beauty.
Korean-Australian member Danielle was announced as a global ambassador for Burberry in Jan. and a YSL Beauty ambassador in March. The “Cookie” singers are just one of many K-pop acts to be given ambassadorship status by a prominent brand.
