Elsa Hosk gave summer suiting a slick twist in her latest OOTD.

On Wednesday, Hosk posed on Instagram in a pair of white fisherman sandals. The Helsa founder’s set featured flat dark soles topped by wide, geometrically crossed leather straps for a cutout effect. The breezy set created a ventilated square-toed effect, ideal to beat the summer heat.

Indeed, Hosk’s footwear was a decidedly bohemian finish for her ensemble: a light yellow linen set, hailing from fashion brand Lioness. Hosk’s attire — the label’s $89 pants — was worn sans blazer and sans shirt, bringing a slick take to the traditional linen summer suit. Her ensemble was complete with dark sunglasses and a perforated white leather barrel-style shoulder bag for a nonchalant, playful finish.

Sandals like Hosk’s have been a leading summer trend this year for their practical nature, as well as fuller foot coverage to allow for greater formality. Pairs often feature wide straps crossed over each other for a woven effect, with black, white and brown leather and rubber styles favored for their neutral hues. New pairs have been released in recent months from a range of brands, as well, including Prada, Vagabond and The Row. Hosk’s outing in the trendy style follows her announcement of her forthcoming Helsa brand’s fall 2023 collection, inspired by Western flair and countryside nature.

Hosk’s shoe style is wide-ranging, varying from minimalist to bohemian. The model often wears embellished and versatile sandals and pumps on the red carpet, hailing from luxury brands including Mach & Mach, Saint Laurent, Manolo Blahnik and Aquazzura. Off-duty, she can also be seen in flat sandals, loafers and heeled boots from brands including Hermes, Piferi, Celine, Vanda Novak and Chanel. Hosk’s sneaker collection also includes a rotation of lace-up pairs from Adidas and New Balance. However, she’s also donned similar styles as the aforementioned from a range of affordable brands, including Vince Camuto, Schutz and PrettyLittleThing.
