Hayley Williams opened Taylor Swift‘s “Eras Tour” today at Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam.
The “Ain’t It Fun” singer donned a pair of on-trend blue and cream Puma boxing-inspired boots. The sporty style was comprised of blue and cream leather and suede uppers, zipper closures on the back, lace-up detailing on the facade in a coordinating blue hue, Puma logo detailing in gold on the tongues and side of the shoes and almond-shaped toes.
Boxing shoes have slowly begun to gain popularity within the last few years. The style coincides with the popular athleisure trend that has taken the fashion and footwear fields by storm. Not just reserved for the boxing ring, the silhouette is often made of leather and features lace-up closures.

Brands like Beshka, Jaded London, Adidas and Marine Serre have all taken the athletic style and updated it to include modern design choices that reflect said brand’s aesthetics. Fashionable folk have begun to wear boxing boots with a variety of casual pieces including skirts and jorts.
Keeping up with her love of all things grunge, the “Still Into You” songstress wore a blue mini skirt layered overtop blue sheer tights, matching the colors in her footwear. On top, Williams wore a yellow T-shirt with a heart graphic on the front. Rounding out her look, the rockstar styled a variety of silver jewelry.
Swift’s concert at Paris La Défense Arena marks the commencement of the international leg of the Eras Tour, which began last year and is scheduled to continue until December 2024. The tour itself is planned to include 152 shows across five continents. Amidst the tour schedule, Swift took a momentary pause to release her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” Paramore has been confirmed to open for 51 dates throughout the European leg of the tour.
