Jerry Hall kept things comfortable Thursday during “Ladies Day” of Royal Ascot 2024.
The famed model attended the hallowed event in a pair of classic black ballet flats hailing from Roger Vivier. Retailing for $1,125, the Belle Vivier style featured mixed see-through fabric and leather uppers featuring a geometric print, square toes fitted metal buckles embossed with the brand’s logo and durable leather soles.
Ballet flats have become a fixture of the fashion and footwear worlds. The silhouette has enjoyed a resurgence, gaining popularity thanks to the “balletcore” microtrend that took over this year. There aren’t many brands, high-end or otherwise, that don’t carry a ballet flat or similar rendition of the favored silhouette.

Accompanying her flats, Hall wore a deep blue midi dress in a form-fitted style that sat off the shoulder. Getting into the theme of the day, the actress also wore an intricate fascinator atop her head featuring a mesh panel and feather attachments.
