Jessica Lange’s Classic Shoe Moments

From “King Kong” to “American Horror Story,” Jessica Lange remains a timeless Hollywood actress — with an equally timeless fashion sense. So in honor of her birthday, FN rounded up some of Lange’s best shoe moments.

Lange’s style is very traditional, with her go-to shoes often being Stuart Weitzman peep-toe pumps. She is also a fan of L.K. Bennett shoes and black pumps by Manolo Blahnik.

Lange’s resume includes not only decades of acting and two Oscars, but in 2014 she was named the face of Marc Jacobs Beauty.

Though her red carpet style is as classic as it gets, Lange’s latest “American Horror Story” character brought on the glamour. Playing Elsa Mars in 1952 gave Lange the opportunity to wear outrageous furs, hats, boas, pantsuits and robes.

Another fan favorite in terms of style was her “AHS: Coven” character, Fiona Goode. The “Supreme” witch Lange played was the epitome of chic. She dressed in all-black looks with designs from Ralph Lauren, Saint Laurent and Givenchy, and paired them with Lanvin shoes and Prada boots.

During her PaleyFest panel in March, Lange (sadly) announced that she will not be returning for the fifth season of “American Horror Story: Hotel.” She said, “We’ve had a great run here. I mean, I absolutely love doing these four characters, and in all the madness, I love the writers and Ryan [Murphy] and the insanity of shooting it.”
