On the same day that Kanye West and Adidas released the Yeezy Boost 350 v2, West made an unexpected appearance in Chicago. And no, it wasn’t to meet customers waiting to get a pair of his shoes.
West took the stage at Chance the Rapper’s Magnificent Coloring Day Festival on Saturday, much to the surprise of the crowd. West wore a sweatshirt from his “Pablo” line of concert merchandise and a pair of unreleased Yeezy Boost 350 v2s. He has been seen wearing the black and white knit sneakers before. The shoes have the same “SPLY-350” branding on the side stripe as the ones released over the weekend.
Even West’s daughter, North, has worn these Yeezys.
