Kate Beckinsale Gets in Fall Mood With Edgy Sky-High Platform Boots

Kate Beckinsale entered fall with a towering edge, thanks to her go-to boots.

On Sunday, Beckinsale posed at home in a photo dump on Instagram to showcase her newest wardrobe acquisitions: a trio of fashion brand Alina’s vegan biker jackets with faux fur sleeves, which she elevated with sky-high shoes. The “Underworld” actress’ first outfit, which featured a black Alina jacket, was boosted with one of her regular booties: a black close-toed style with thin laces and thick heels, cinched by buckled ankle straps.

The booties provided a slick edge to Beckinsale’s attire, which included a light tan long-sleeved crop top and distressed charcoal denim shorts with frayed hems.

The “Serendipity” star’s second outfit included the same jacket in white, albeit with different boots: a black knee-high style covered in grommet-accented straps, complete with thick platform soles for a sharp height boost. The footwear provided a punky contrast to Beckinsale’s lighter ensemble, which — aside from her Alina jacket — featured a white long-sleeved crop top, distressed light blue shorts and a crystal belt. In fact, the aforementioned boots are another one of the actress’ most-worn pairs, which she’s donned for numerous social outings over the years.

When it comes to shoes, Beckinsale usually favors her staple ankle and knee-high black boots from brands like Alaïa. However, the “Underworld” star also wears Naked Wolfe platform sneakers and Saint Laurent sandals while off-duty. For formal occasions, Beckinsale dons towering pumps and sandals by Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Valentino and Stuart Weitzman. She’s a strong force in the fashion world as well, regularly appearing in front rows for brands like Elie Saab, Moschino and Giambattista Valli, among others.
