Starting Sunday, Kate Middleton and Prince William will travel to India and Bhutan on an official visit — and all eyes will certainly be on the Duchess of Cambridge‘s style.
While we expect Middleton to stay fairly classic in the shoe department, this is a trip where she could certainly take some risks with color.
The Duchess, who wore mostly Jimmy Choo pumps last fall, has experimented with more brands in the early months of 2016, wearing Rupert Sanderson several times and Prada, too.
Read on for our seven shoe picks for seven special events during the trip.
Day 1: April 10, India — Dinner with Bollywood stars
Bright colors are key in Bollywood, and this Manolo Blahnik kitten heel is just the right height for some serious dancing.

Day 2: April 11, India — Garden party celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday
Middleton, who has worn wedges on many occasions, could choose this rope-adorned style fit for a garden party.

Day 3: April 12, India — Watching music and dance performances to celebrate Assamese New Year
Standout hues will again be key to celebrate Assamese culture, and this yellow python pair of peep-toe sandals would be fitting for a princess.

Day 4: April 13, India — Game drive at Kaziranga National Park
While the athletically minded Duchess only wears sneakers occasionally, this Adidas trainer would be a good choice for India.

Day 5: April 14, Bhutan — Private audience with King and Queen of Bhutan and visit to temple
No shoes allowed in the temple, so this elegant easy-on, easy-off patent block heel from Ferragamo would be a good pick for Kate.

Day 6: April 15, Bhutan — Reception for British nationals in Bhutan
Kate’s go-to pump of choice is often Jimmy Choo, and this nude pair would work well for a formal reception.

Day 7; April 16, India — Visit to the Taj Mahal
Kate’s late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, was a beloved figure in India, and she visited the Taj Mahal on a trip in 1992. She wore purple pumps while sitting on a bench in the Taj Mahal garden. It would be fitting for the Duchess of Cambridge to pay homage to Diana’s style during her own visit.
