Third time’s a charm, indeed. Today, Kate Middleton observed Remembrance Sunday in London wearing the same Diane Von Furstenberg coat she debuted five years ago.
For such a somber occasion, it’s best to play it safe, so the Duchess of Cambridge wisely selected her chic DVF Lilo double-breasted threads that she last had on in 2012 and 2011 — both occasions were on the British memorial holiday.
To elevate the look from demure to chic, she accessorized with cuffs, pearl and diamond earrings and a large hat.
She observed the ceremony from a balcony alongside her stepmother-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex. The obstructed view, unfortunately, blocked her footwear – but she possibly stepped out in a black pump like she did Saturday at another holiday service.

Prince William and Prince Harry marched streetside, as did Queen Elizabeth, who had on a sensible pair of black horsebit loafers.
For more than 50 years, the monarch’s choice of footwear has been bespoke loafers by London shoemaker Anello & Davide. Her go-to style features a chunky 2.25-inch with a raised insole.
Britain’s Remembrance Sunday honors those who lost their lives in conflicts.
