Last week, Kendall Jenner put the breaks on her love affair with social media by going on a self-imposed “detox.”
Seven days later, the supermodel’s hiatus was over. Today, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star made a return to her more than 68 million Instagram followers to share her talents as a photographer.
The Calvin Klein ambassador posted three artsy red-hued images to her page — and appeared to be impressed with her shutterbug skills: “Shy boy by me,” she captioned a photo of a male obscuring his face with a hat; “happy by me,” she described a group of concert revelers in another picture; “return of the mack by me,” she commented on a photo of two friends.
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres recently on the shoe designer’s talk show, she explained why she went under the radar.

“I just wanted to detox,” she said Tuesday on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” “I just wanted a little bit of a break. I would wake up in the morning and I would look at it first thing. I would go to bed and it was the last thing that I would look at,” Jenner said. “I felt a little too dependent on it, so I kind of wanted to take a minute … I’ll be back.”
Jenner wore a pair of beige Yeezy block-heel sandals and a green satin outfit during the chat.
