Kim Kardashian was photographed attending her son Saint West‘s basketball game yesterday in Los Angeles.
Keeping it simple, Kardashian donned a pair of khaki-colored slides. Although they were slightly eclipsed by the hem of her trousers, Kardashian’s slides featured a slip-on construction with breezy open toes with thick straps that sat overtop her feet, securing the shoe in place. The slides also had a ribbed tread that offered the neutral pair a non-slip feel.
Slides of all kinds can be dressed up or down depending on what it’s partnered with. Like Kardashian’s application, however, the shoe is especially popular with casual summer looks. Additionally, the social media star’s footwear falls under the category of “ugly” sandals, a trend that, despite its name, has become associated with some of the most on-trend celebrities and fashion influencers. “Ugly sandals” are often marked by large straps and an oversized chunky construction, usually prioritizing comfort and foot support over popular trends that don’t emphasize practicality.
Going monochrome, Kardashian stuck to a neutral tan color scheme for her look. The makeup mogul was outfitted in a cropped tank top paired with high-waisted tan sweatpants featuring a drawstring closure. Slung over her arm was a Dior saddle bag in a coordinating tan hue featuring silver hardware and fur trim. Shading her features, Kardashian also donned reflective silver sunglasses.

The former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star is known for wearing bold outfits, including see-through leggings and mesh dresses. These are often styled with pieces in matching or complementary hues from a wide array of top brands, such as Mugler, Balmain, Balenciaga and Maison Margiela.
Her shoes are often trend-based and daring, such as Rick Owens platform boots to Yeezy sneakers. Most recently, she’s been seen in vintage sandals, boots and pumps from Prada, Manolo Blahnik and others.
