Lauren Sanchez attended the IWMF Courage in Journalism Awards held in Washington, D.C., on Monday alongside her fiancé, Jeff Bezos. The couple hosted the event along with their attendance.
Although they were slightly hard to see under the lengthy hem of her jumpsuit, the television personality sported a pair of gold sandal heels in a sky-high platform style. The gilded set was comprised of glossy metallic gold uppers likely accompanied by thick and secure straps that sat overtop the performer’s toes and around her ankles, like most sandal-esque styles.
Sanchez’s footwear also featured thick and lofty platform soles and peep-toes that offered the heels a breathable touch. The dazzling set was likely rounded out with the addition of 4 to 5-inch block heels, providing the broadcast journalist a sky-high boost. Like many celebrities, Sanchez is a huge fan of platform styles of all kinds, specifically the dazzling ones.
In bloom, Sanchez was outfitted in a cream-colored “Moonflower” Elie Saab jumpsuit fitted with a floral-esque ruffle applique all along the bodice. Retailing for $3,075, the garment also included a singular sleeve, creating an asymmetrical appearance, along with pleated bell-bottom-esque trousers that flared out at the hem.

The ruffled trim on the bodice offered the garment a whimsical appearance, jazzing up the classic silhouette. Accompanying her look, Sanchez sported a variety of diamond-encrusted pieces of jewelry in silver and wore her lengthy dark tresses up in a high ponytail featuring shorter face-framing pieces.
When it comes to footwear, Sanchez usually wears versatile nude and black heels on the red carpet from brands like Christian Louboutin, particularly at high-profile events as the girlfriend of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. The philanthropist’s off-duty ensembles feature sneakers by Alexander McQueen, Nike, Adidas and Golden Goose, as well as Chloé rubber boots. She also opts for sandals with gladiator or thick crossed straps in neutral hues for day-to-day wear.
