Lourdes Leon turned heads in an eye-catching pair of glittery embellished strappy sandals while attending the Marc Jacobs fall 2024 runway show at New York Public Library on Monday, July 1.
Crafted with leather, the sandals boasted a silver and black colorway and were characterized by a shiny strap on the upper region of the foot, and a secondary strap in the midfoot. While the back of her shoes couldn’t be seen completely, the set was likely completed with a slender heel estimated to be between 4 to 5 inches in height. The model teamed her sandals with a black netted minidress and a black purse. She left her locks flowing in a middle part and wore a natural, dewy makeup look.
Leon has been choosing heels for major event appearances. In June, she attended MAC Cosmetics’ Viva Glam Billion Dollar Ball in New York City wearing Agent Provocateur’s Allegrah “boudoir” shoes. The black peep-toe shoes featured a silky satin upper topped with a marabou feather pompom and a glossy patent stiletto heel. She paired her shoes with a leopard-print bustier dress that hit her just above-the-knee.

Those sandals were similar to a pair she sported for The Victoria Secret World Tour in New York in September 2023, where she showcased a glitzy pair of black platform heels that were comprised of glossy patent leather uppers, breezy peep-toes, thin-but-sturdy situated around the ankles, buckle straps that secured the pair in place and a stiletto heel that hovered around 5 inches in height.
That same month, she arrived to Dion Lee‘s spring 2024 fashion show in a set of round-soled mules that included two clear upper straps for an “invisible” effect, a padded trim coated in gleaming crystals and a thin stiletto heel that also measured between 4 to 5 inches in height.
The Marc Jacobs fall 2024 runway show highlighted many new ready-to-wear pieces from the brand’s upcoming collection. Many other notable names such as Nicole Ari Parker and Nicky Hilton graced the front row of the event.
