Lourdes Leon gave the little black dress a dynamic revamp during New York Fashion Week.
On Saturday night, the daughter of Madonna arrived to Dion Lee‘s spring 2024 fashion show in a set of round-soled mules. Her black pair featured two clear upper straps for an “invisible” effect, while padded trim coated in gleaming crystals gave the set a dash of sparkle. Leon’s style was finished with thin stiletto heels, bringing the texture-mixed set a slick finish.
The Y2K-worthy footwear added a futuristically glamorous finish to Leon’s outfit for the occasion: a strapless black minidress, complete with a triangular thigh-high slit. The piece was crafted from multiple strips of layered fabric, arranged to form a series of angular side cutouts — which were further emphasized by their gleaming silver eyelets. Leon’s attire was finished with gleaming metal buckles, bringing it a truly punky edge.
The Mugler muse only opted to accessorize her outfit with a black leather belt bag, which was strung with mixed gold and silver chains for an eclectically subversive shine.

During Lee’s show, Leon was notably part of a star-studded front row — which included friends and fellow fashion muses Eartheater, Kali Uchis and Ice Spice, among numerous others.
NYFW is held in New York City in September, marking the start of Fashion Month. The spring 2024 season will see a calendar of fashion shows and presentations from a range of designers, including Ralph Lauren, Christian Siriano, Proenza Schouler and more. The occasion will also include numerous parties and activations from brands like Aldo, J.Crew, MCM and more.
