Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson have shared photos of their wedding day after secretly tying the knot.
“Truly the happiest day of my life,” Johnson commented today on Instagram, sharing a photo of the big moment.
The former Miss California USA beauty queen wore a custom white Julie Vino gown and matching sandals. The sultry dress featured a plunging V-neck bodice with lace and mesh detail. The skirt had a train and a slit up the front of the thigh.
According to a rep for the label, Johnson spent more than a year collaborating on the design.
The groom donned a gray suit, icy blue tie and tan oxford shoes.
“My best friend…. I love you!!” he captioned a photo walking down the aisle.

The newlyweds held a ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Saturday after Phelps announced earlier this week that they secretly married on June 13 ahead of participating in the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
“I’ve been married for a while, a couple months,” the Under Armour athlete shared during a recent Facebook Live video. “I had to keep it a secret from y’all. I had to keep it hush-hush from you guys. But Nicole and I are married. We are officially married, and now we are getting the chance to kind of kick it and hang out now.”
Phelps — the most decorated Olympian of all time with 28 medals (23 gold, three silver, two bronze) — and Johnson have a four-month-old son named Boomer. He announced his engagement to Johnson in February 2015. Previously, the couple dated on and off since 2007.
