Queen Camilla slipped into a pair of her go-to pumps to bid farewell to Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan at Buckingham Palace on Thursday, June 27.
Appearing alongside her husband, King Charles III, Camilla showed off a royal blue frock featuring long sleeves with poofy shoulders and a pleated skirt. She styled the vibrant midi dress with the same taupe suede heels she wore to visit a primary school in London yesterday, as well as to welcome Japan’s Emperor and Empress to town days prior.
The shoes boast a neutral suede upper, pointed toes and a low block heel measuring approximately 1 inch tall. The style’s muted design makes them ideal for pairing with a variety of looks, as Queen Camilla often does.

Tying her elegant ensemble together, the British royal accessorized with pearl earrings, delicate gold layered necklaces and an assortment of gold bracelets. She also sported a sparkling diamond and sapphire butterfly brooch that she pinned near the collar of her dress. The adornment added a touch of whimsy to her classic look.
As for Empress Masako, she also wore timeless heels featuring a low-to-the-ground heel. The style seamlessly complemented her sleek blush-colored co-ord.
Camilla, who was officially crowned the Queen of England last spring, tends to wear chic coats and coordinating sets in rich jewel tones and versatile shoes in neutral hues like black, brown and sand. Much like her predecessor, Queen Elizabeth II, she often dons monochromatic outfits. And similar to her daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, she’s become known for repeating the same shoe styles over and over.
