Spotted on Tuesday wearing the exact same pair of shoes while attending the national final of scientific monologues “Solo De Ciencia” at Circulo de Bellas Artes, the Queen’s sneakers were comfortably constructed with a mesh upper and a durable rubber outsole that contributed to its breathable nature, and featured a precise lace-up design in the upper accompanied by a leather lining on the outer, and stopped at the ankle.

The Queen has been going for comfortable looks in her recent appearances, as she is normally known for her elevated shoe looks. In April, she was seen sporting a pair of Carolina Herrera slingback pumps alongside Queen Maxima of the Netherlands while at a ceremony welcoming the Spanish royals at the Royal Palace of Amsterdam. The pumps featured beige leather uppers and a mid-sized stiletto heel. That same month, she was also spotted in another colorway of those very same pumps alongside King Felipe of Spain while visiting the exposition of mural painters at Museum Straat. Those shoes were made with patent leather and boosted a classic pointed-toe design, a dark navy upper characterized by a thin dark blue ankle strap, a contrasting brown outsole and a sharp stiletto heel that measured between 2 to 3 inches.

The Royal Collections Gallery is an art museum located in Madrid and run by the Spanish state agency Patrimonio Nacional. It displays the vast cultural wealth that has been treasured by the Spanish Monarchy from the Middle Ages to the present day, and is located in a new building above the gardens of the Campo del Moro park and next to the Almudena Cathedral and the Royal Palace.
