Rihanna was photographed alongside her boyfriend and fellow musician ASAP Rocky in New York yesterday. The couple celebrated Rocky’s 34 birthday at Carbone in Manhattan.
Stepping out for her dinner date, the “Diamonds” songstress was outfitted in black boot pants with extremely pointed toes and thin 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels. The shoe meets pants combo is a favorite of many stars including Kim Kardashian for their color diversity and unique fit. Rihanna’s pair featured a glossy nylon-esque finish and were likened to a pair of opaque tights.
Bringing “Balletcore” to the streets of New York, Rihanna donned a black tutu-inspired look. The garment featured a structural corsetted bodice accompanied by voluminous tulle trim that transitioned into a short flared skirt also made out of tulle.

Over her tulle top, Rihanna layered on a cropped black “Ubon” bomber jacket from Copenhagen-based designer brand Cecilie Bahnsen featuring a glossy finish and coordinating black button closures. Rounding out her look, the performer sported large black rectangular sunglasses accompanied by a variety of shiny silver jewelry.
For Rihanna, no shoe is too bold — or heel too high. The “Rated R” musician has worn a wide range of shoes over the years, including sky-high heels and chunky sneakers. Rihanna’s red carpet styles often include strappy sandals, platforms and pointed-toe pumps by Muaddi, Prada and Tom Ford that coordinate with her outfits.
