Salma Hayek attended Gucci‘s Cosmos exhibition Vernissage event in London today. Beyond Hayek, other notable attendees at the immersive exhibition included Paul Mescal, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Lila Moss and Daisy Edgar-Jones among others.
For the artistic occasion, the “From Dusk Till Dawn” star sported a pair of bright blue slingback pumps.
The thespian’s footwear featured matt light blue leather uppers that transitioned into sharp knife-like pointed toes and thick straps that sat around the heels of Hayek’s feet, hence the aforementioned slingback construction. The straps seemed to be threaded through or attached to gold chain accents that offered the footwear silhouette an eye-catching shine.
Matching her shoes, Hayek was outfitted in a cropped leather baby blue jacket which she layered overtop a ribbed white top. The textural top was tucked into a high-waisted leather black midi skirt featuring a PVC-like shine.

The “Desperado” actress’ skirt was belted, further defining her silhouette. Accessorizing her ensemble, Hayek wore cat-eye glasses featuring thick black frames which she paired alongside a light blue bedazzled Gucci Jackie bag featuring silver caged accents. Rounding out her look, Hayek sported a variety of gold jewelry.
Hayek is a longtime wearer of platform heels, both on and off the red carpet. For formal occasions, the “Frida” star often straps into matte neutral or metallic pairs, as well as pointed-toe boots or pumps from a range of luxury brands. When off-duty, she can also be seen in Stella McCartney platform brogues. Over the years, she’s become a mainstay during Fashion Month, regularly attending fashion shows for brands including Gucci, Balenciaga, Altuzarra and Saint Laurent.
Gucci’s Cosmos exhibition was created by contemporary artist Es Devlin. The program includes artworks along with pieces from Gucci’s extensive archive and will be open starting Oct. 11 and will conclude on Dec. 31.
