Jelly Roll in Louis Vuitton Shoes and More Sneaker Moments on the Grammys 2024 Red Carpet

The Grammy Awards 2024 marks one of the biggest nights in music as the brightest stars have gathered to honor the best recordings, compositions and artists in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Different than other award shows from the season, the Grammys red carpet is known for being a stage for edgy styles and experimental looks. This year, many guests decided to give their formal look a casual update with sneakers.

Here, FN takes a closer look at the stars who wore kicks on the red carpet.

Rebecca Lovell and Megan Lovell of Larkin Poe were in twin mode from head to toe as they arrived on the red carpet. On their feet, they selected Adidas Sambas OG sneakers which feature the timeless silhouette that was birthed on the pitch. True to its legacy, the Samba OG is an undeniable street style fave given its soft leather upper, suede overlays and gum sole.

Jaden Bojsen

Jaden Bojsen opted for white sneakers to contrast his black outfit. The German actor tapped into the white sneakers trend, which has been a popular style for decades as it offers ultimate functionality.

Ann Marie Pendleton, Ani Pendleton and Uncle Jumbo

Ann Marie Pendleton, Ani Pendleton and Uncle Jumbo made it a family affair at tonight’s show. While Jumbo’s wife slipped on silver platform sandals, her DJ husband and son strapped on pairs of signature All-Star Converse with a leopard print.

Jelly Roll, who’s nominated for Best New Artist and Best Country Duo/Group Performance, gave neutral tones as he arrived on the red carpet. He took that energy down to his feet in Louis Vuitton Skate Sneakers complete with a bicolor upper with Monogram Flower detailing, technical mesh, calf leather and suede. This nineties-inspired style includes a padded collar, technical double laces and bicolor rubber outsole decorated with Monogram Flowers. It was first seen at Louis Vuitton’s fall 2022 men’s show.

Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran was camouflaged out in a monochromatic number as he joined the stars on the carpet. Nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album, the singer dressed in a cargo-style jacket and denim pants from Stella McCartney’s fall 2019 collection. When it came to footwear, Sheeran looked to the future for his sneakers. The all-black pair was designed by Stella McCartney with a striking bright, white line flowing throughout the shoe. Black laces on this pair only added more edge the the sneakers. His longtime collaborator and fellow musician Aaron Dessner joined him on the carpet.

The 2024 Grammys, held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 4, celebrates the biggest artists, albums and songs of the year. Hosted by comedian Trevor Noah, the 66th annual ceremony features performances from Billie Eilish, SZA, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo, among others. The Recording Academy will also present Lifetime Achievement Awards to Donna Summer, N.W.A., Tammy Wynette and Gladys Knight.
