Sofia Vergara was spotted wearing polka dot sandals from Aquazzura as she arrived for a taping of “America’s Got Talent” in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Known for her chic street style, the “AGT” judge regularly dons high-heeled shoe styles from brands like Saint Laurent, Christian Louboutin, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Stuart Weitzman.
That said, Vergara opted for comfort, slipping into a pair of sleek Birkenstock slides for a recent outing on March 28. On another occasion last month, she showed off sky-high Christian Louboutin Loubi Queen platform pumps. Earlier this year, while promoting her new Netflix series “Griselda” in New York City, she stepped out in glossy black patent leather pumps featuring a timeless pointed-toe silhouette.

When the “Modern Family” alum is not wearing heels, you might find her sporting Puma sneakers. In particular, she is a fan of Puma’s elevated Cali wedge style.
About the shoes
The Aquazurra sandals Vergara wore were the brand’s “Twist” mules. The shoes feature a black-and-white polka dot grosgrain upper that twists (hence the name) across the two vamp straps. Made in Italy, the slip-on style is complete with a sculpted 4-inch heel that is curved slightly.

Aquazzura, which translates to “blue water” in Italian, serves as an ode to its founder Edgardo Osorio’s love of the sea. The luxury footwear brand based in Florence, Italy got its start in 2012 and now has boutiques all over the world. Aquazzura shoes can take up to 6 months to craft. Last year, the brand launched handbags and men’s shoes. Speaking to FN in 2022 for Aquazzura’s 10th anniversary, Osorio shared his plans for the next 10 years. “Maybe I’ll have eyewear, perfume, beauty — maybe 100 stores. Let’s see.”
