Taylor Swift Glitters in Ballet Flats & Louboutin Booties in Brazil on Her ‘Eras’ World Tour

Taylor Swift brought new shoe statements to the stage in Brazil during the international portion of her ongoing “Eras” world tour. The concert, which kicked off in March, has just begun its international leg — which will continue until Dec. 2024.

During her first “Eras” night in Sao Paulo, Swift slipped on a pair of trendy ballet flats at the Allianz Parque stadium on Friday. The Grammy Award-winning musician’s close-toed style featured smooth, pale purple leather uppers, complete with a flat base and thin bow accents.

The style — which has grown as a top 2023 shoe trend, thanks to its affiliations with preppy and ballet-inspired aesthetics — added a romantic finish to Swift’s flowing purple dress for the occasion. Her bohemian look, which was designed with stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer for her concert’s “Folklore” section, featured draped sleeves and a maxi-length hem acted with swirling lace paneling.

Falconer also worked with Swift on another new custom outfit, seen later in the show: a glitzy crop top and matching miniskirt. The Roberto Cavalli ensemble, worn during the musician’s “1989” concert section, featured intricate beading in hues of blue and green to create an aquatic, two-toned effect. In previous concerts, Swift has worn the same set in hues of red, pink, royal blue, green and orange, as well.

Swift’s glittering set was streamlined with a custom pair of Christian Louboutin booties, featuring a round-toed silhouette with short block heels and ankle-length shafts. The set — which featured Louboutin’s signature glossy red soles — was finished with a coating of allover blue and green crystals, which perfectly matched her two-piece outfit. Like the ensemble itself, previous iterations have also been worn with custom Louboutin booties in matching red, pink, green, royal blue and orange colorways.

Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour supports the musician’s eighth album, “Midnights” — as well as the ten “eras” of albums she’s released over the course of her career. Held from March 2023 to Dec. 2024, the international concert series features shows in cities including Nashville, Tokyo, Paris and London, with opening acts including Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, Paramore, Gracie Abrams and Gayle. Swift’s “Eras” tour has also featured a variety of “surprise song” performances, special guests — including Ice Spice and Jack Antonoff — and various themed onstage outfits from brands including Christian Louboutin, Versace, Alberta Ferretti, Etro and Roberto Cavalli.
