Victoria’s Secret spread its wings once again. After canceling its annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2019 due to lowering viewership, the brand hosted a fashion event at the Manhattan Center in New York City on Wednesday, a couple of days before the beginning of New York Fashion Week, to celebrate its new project; “The Victoria’s Secret World Tour.”
Naomi Campbell, Priyanka Chopra, Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid, Ashley Graham, Lourdes Leon, Candice Swanepoel and more celebrities attended the event to commemorate the upcoming release of the brand’s film in partnership with Prime Video. “The Victoria’s Secret World Tour,” which was announced in March, will be available to stream in more than 50 countries on Sept. 26, featuring performances from Doja Cat and Sabrina Carpenter. The film will take viewers on a journey through the creation of The Tour, passing through the cities of Bogota, Lagos, London and Tokyo.
Campbell, who walked the runway many times for Victoria’s Secret in the past but was never considered an official “Angel” of the brand, wore a gold chainmail minidress for the occasion.

The supermodel, who on Tuesday debuted her collaborative collection with PrettyLittleThing in New York, slipped on a pair of gilded mules that featured a surrealistic golden plate secured in place by a dainty bow on the front.
Inside the event, Campbell kicked off the experience by reading a poem from a balcony.
Then the spotlight shone on Hadid, who brightened up the event with a yellow ruched dress from Ferragamo’s fall 2023 collection and chose sharp black pumps to complete her look. The model, who can be seen in the Victoria’s Secret campaign, alongside Campbell, introduced the 12-minute long excerpt of feature that the audience was about to watch.
“A journey that began in 2021 for Victoria’s Secret, the goal was to give a new generation of creatives from around the world the opportunity to tell their stories and see their creations brought to life on the world stage. The platform? The VS Show,” she said in front of the crowd.
Meanwhile, Chopra embraced sheer dressing in a look from Giambattista Valli’s ready-to-wear fall 2023 collection with sequin embellishments throughout and styled her look with peep-toe platforms.
Leon went bold with a Natalia Fedner minidress and towering black heels that elevated her look by at least 5 inches.
After the screening, Colombian singer Goyo took the stage followed by Doechii, who sang her hit song “What It Is.”
Following the release of “The Victoria’s Secret World Tour” on Sept. 26, viewers will be able to shop a tour-inspired collection on VictoriasSecret.com and on the Victoria’s Secret Amazon storefront.
