Kerby Jean-Raymond’s Pyer Moss is stepping back into fashion with a new collaboration with Canada Goose.
“Together we have created something truly bold, vivid and functional that delivers on comfort and warmth,” said Jean-Raymond in a statement. “These pieces are a new take on the dynamic style that I grew up with in Brooklyn, reimagined in a way that they can be worn anywhere from urban adventures to expeditions in the wild.”
The ski-wear brand and Jean-Raymond’s resulting lineup includes a capsule collection inspired by the street culture of Brooklyn, which launches on Oct. 19. The range notably spotlights its Wild Brick — Boot 001 boots, which come in men’s and women’s sizing. This shoe style features a round-toed silhouette with quilted, padded technical uppers and ribbed knit lining for added warmth, completed by thick, ridged rubber soles. For a retro edge, Canada Goose side logos and branded cord laces also accent each pair.
In homage to Pyer Moss’ signature colors, the boots come in three color palettes: black with yellow soles, white with yellow soles and black with red soles. The same hues can also be seen in the collaboration’d additional pieces, which include a winter-ready parka, puffer jacket, puffer vest, anorak, cropped puffer jacket and overalls made with materials including waterproof shell, shearling and cord locks — all staples of Canada Goose. Rounding out the range is a wool balaclava, ensuring shoppers are ready for the snowy months ahead.

“This collaboration with Pyer Moss is particularly exciting to us because the brand goes beyond the realm of creativity and style, it’s a powerful driver of culture that continuously sparks important conversations,” said Penny Brook, Canada Goose’s chief marketing and experience officer, in a statement.
In addition to its fashion pieces, Canada Goose and Pyer Moss’ collection will also include a short film that focuses on climate change, where a young woman hopes to find snow in a futuristic world where the experience is only achievable in an inventor (Jean-Raymond)’s simulator.
