Danner is teaming up again with menswear brand Ball and Buck on special anniversary boot.
Dubbed the Danner x Ball and Buck Light boot, the style is a special take on the footwear producer’s most known silhouette and celebrates the 10th anniversary of the duo’s partnership together – reissuing a limited run of the once sold-out boots.
For this newest tie-up, the collaborative boot features Ball and Buck’s signature camo in 10oz duck cloth combined with Danner’s oiled and waxed leather upper. Blaze orange stitching and antique brass hardware helped to provide a rugged aesthetic while the Vibram Gumlite sole and Gore-Tex technology are added for durability.
Mark Bollman, founder and CEO of Ball and Buck, called the release a “full circle moment” between the two brands, celebrating 10 years since their first project. “Danner is one of the most recognizable American brands in the outdoor footwear industry; known for their quality and craftsmanship, I am so proud to create something with them that will last a lifetime,” Bollman said.

This is the latest shoe collaboration for Danner, which marked its 90th anniversary in 2022. Last month, Danner joined forces with menswear brand Taylor Stitch to build “The Ridge + River Collection,” an adventure ready kit of five utility equipped pieces. The capsule was highlighted by the limited edition made in USA Gore-Tex Ridge Boot that uses a special panel of waxed canvas developed by the experts at Halley Stevensons in the UK.
And in April, Danner teamed up with Mystery Ranch on a collection inspired by the rich colors of Montana’s big sky country sunsets. The capsule range featured the Trail 2650 Mesh GTX hiker shoe, a limited-edition version of the footwear brand’s trail shoe that includes a lightweight mesh upper, Gore-Tex waterproof liner and a Vibram 460 outsole with Megagrip technology.
The new Danner x Ball and Buck Light boot, which retails for $449, is now exclusively available at Ballandbuck.com and Danner.com.
