Nov. 23, 2020: In anticipation of the upcoming film, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runway, Hunter is releasing a collection of footwear and accessories inspired by the beloved Beatrix Potter character with Sony Pictures Consumer Products. On Dec. 1, you can shop limited-edition styles at Hunterboots.com, including two vegetable-themed Original Tall rain boots for women. The collection also has three Classic Wellington boots for kids with a design featuring the film’s animated rendition of the adventurous rabbit throughout, as well as three Pull On Wellington boot options. The Hunter x Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway collection ranges from $12-$165 and incorporates footwear, three kid’s backpacks and a keyring.

Nov. 13, 2020: In the words of the Cat in the Hat: “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” That’s the mantra of Irregular Choice, and the brand’s latest collaboration with Dr. Seuss is further proof. Fittingly, the collection of footwear and accessories launches on Friday the 13th and pays homage to some of Theodor Seuss Geisel’s most beloved characters, including that trouble-making Cat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and Fish. The footwear offering includes flats, sneakers, heels and tall boots, retailing for $130-$310, with tights priced at $30 and purses and handbags going for $30-$220. Nov. 11, 2020: Danner has unveiled a new limited-edition boot and jacket with L.A.-based lifestyle label Roark. The made-in-USA collab was developed to be rugged enough to handle the elements in Alaska’s Aleutian islands, which the Roark team visited to produce the documentary short “Arc of Aleutia,” by filmmakers Chris Burkard and Ben Weiland. The collection includes the Danner Ridge Roark boot ($380) and Danner x Roark Axeman Jacket ($375). The boot was made in Danner’s factory in Portland, Ore., and features Horween leathers, Gore-Tex waterproofing and Vibram’s Sierra outsole. Both items are available on the Danner and Roark websites.
Nov. 9, 2020: Ruthie Davis debuts a new shoe inspired by Disney’s “Cinderella” in honor of the classic film’s 70th anniversary. Available now at Ruthiedavis.com, the $398 shoe comes in two colorways and sits on a 4-inch stiletto heel. “My Disney x Ruthie Davis Cinderella slipper is not an exclusive fit meant for only one person. Nov. 9, 2020: As travel is somewhat challenging these days, Sea Star Beachwear is bringing the tropics to us. The lifestyle brand, known for its water-friendly footwear and bags, has unveiled a limited-edition collection for resort ’21, created in partnership with Trèfle, a fashion label based in Tortola, British Virgin Islands, and founded by Kristin Frazer. The collection includes the brand’s classic Beachcomber espadrille for women ($96) and kids ($68); the men’s Mariner slip-on ($96); plus the new women’s Cabana slide ($45), offered in three colorways including a watercolor-esque Palm Print created for Trèfle. Nov. 5, 2020: Chinese Laundry announced that it is the official footwear sponsor for the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, Confidently Beautiful Virtual Contest. For the Miss USA contestants, the brand will be providing its Always and Faire silhouettes, and, for the Miss Teen USA contestants, the Teri and Britney designs. The event takes will be televised nationally and will air online on both Nov. 7 and Nov. 9.
