Reebok and Interior Design House Eames Office Tease a Collaboration That’s Arriving in the Fall

Legendary interior design house Eames Office and Reebok have teamed up on an upcoming collaboration.

Though limited info about the upcoming project has been revealed, both companies announced that the collaboration will blend the worlds of fine art, interior architecture and streetwear.

Set to drop in the fall ’21, the effort will bring together an interesting pairing. Known as the first couple of design, Charles and Ray Eames have worked together for more than four decades, revolutionizing design and architecture. Their work began in the 1930’s and ‘40s to the fields of architecture, furniture design, industrial design, manufacturing and photographic arts.

Future details and release info about the collaboration will be unveiled in the coming months.

Reebok has been on the collaboration front as of late, most recently revealing projects this month with Awake NY on the Club C and Classic Leather silhouettes.

News of the collaboration with Eames Office comes at a time where Reebok’s ownership future is in limbo. After owning Reebok for more than 15 years, Adidas confirmed in February that it is planning to sell the brand. Talks of a potential sale began in October 2020 after a Bloomberg report emerged stating Adidas AG was looking to sell Reebok, and revealed an internal review was in its early stages.

After Adidas eventually divests from Reebok, there will be several suitors interested in the brand. Music mogul Master P and former NBA star Baron Davis, for instance, are already some of the names that have expressed interest publicly.
