For spring ’15, the newest camo-print shoes comes in both conventional and unconventional colorways, in a variety of footwear styles.
Men’s sneakers assume an abstract take on the iconic print, while women’s styles are elevated with stiletto heels.
Men’s sneaker styles take the camo print and render it in a contrasting treatment. Valentino’s runner uses mixed materials and bold color combos to give the style newness. Giuseppe Zanotti’s high-top takes the print to the extreme. Dan Ward sandals take on camo for its footbed.
Women’s brands use the print in more unexpected styles. Jimmy Choo gave it a metallic treatment in its strappy Lottie style, while Joie used a subtle canvas print in its stiletto sandal. Sophia Webster combined the print with PVC detailing on its mule style.
To wear the flashy trend, go minimalist, with a monochromatic color palette. Or, if you’re feeling daring, go maximalist, with a subtle printed shirt or pant (but stick to a color family that’s similar to the shoe, or a neutral black and white).
