To celebrate its 5th anniversary, luxury e-commerce site Moda Operandi has paired with five designers on limited edition, exclusive capsule collections. The first, available for pre-order Friday, comes courtesy of Mr Christian Louboutin, marking the famed shoe designer’s debut on the site.
Louboutin, who has a personal attraction to horoscopes, turned to the zodiac to inspire the capsule.
The French designer is offering two celestial styles — a statement mule, retailing for $2200, and chic flat for $2000 — both of which can be ordered in any one of the 12 signs of the zodiac.
The flat features a soft pointed toe and delicate hand embroidery. In addition to embroidery, the mule comes with leather accents, the edges of which are finished with fine gold chain.
For clients after a little something extra, you can request to have your pair personalized with initials and birthdate hand stitched on the top corner of the shoe.

Our advice? Hurry. This really is a limited edition collection, with only 45 units in total being produced, all of which will be handcrafted in Louboutin’s bespoke Paris atelier.
The two styles can be pre-ordered starting Friday.
