It seems the coveted summer body weight is not just a goal for people around the world, but also shoes.
Prada-owned classic shoe firm Church’s kept its shoes on a slight diet to reach the summer body measurements. The brand launched its new “450” collection, which features a lighter Goodyear sole construction and weighs in total — you probably guessed it already — 450 grams exactly. The brand’s Consul, Grafton, Burwood or Keats model all weigh in at 540 grams or more, for comparison.
Starting from this month, all classic styles of the brand will be available in the lighter version and in numerous colors to make customers feel as light as a feather, literally speaking. A feather is stamped into the internal part of the shoe to distinguish the “450” from the other models.
