Shoe Line To Watch: Dear Frances

Animal print lovers, rejoice. Whatever style you fancy—from slide sandals to stiletto heels—Dear Frances has a cow print to match.

The brand, which launched for the fall ’14 season, produces all of its shoes in Italy. The spring ’16 collection ranges from $428 to $757, and features a variety of high-end women’s styles, from block-heeled mules to suede ankle booties.

Core styles in the collection include mules, slide sandals, heeled sandals and ankle booties. Standout details included mesh panels and plexi glass detailing, which was used as graphic stripes on wooden block heels.

A graduate from the London College of Fashion and Milan’s Modapelle Academia, designer Jane Frances spent her formative years working in footwear factories in Italy. The brand is now currently based in London.

Dear Frances is carried on retailer Wolf & Badger’s website, as well as on its own e-commerce website.
