“Champagne Supernovas,” by Maureen Callahan. “It dives into the 1990s fashion scene — particularly the pivotal year 1992 and how it changed the landscape of the industry. It’s a great read, and it stresses how important it is to be a rule-breaker and blaze your own path in this business.”

“Becoming a Supple Leopard,” by Kelly Starrett. “I’m on a mission to overcome all the aches and pains that come with age and nonstop travel.”

“I’m reading ‘Gods And Kings: The Rise and Fall of Alexander McQueen and John Galliano,’ by Dana Thomas. I am both fascinated and frightened by the book — all the insights and details about how both McQueen and Galliano built their brands, but also how difficult the industry makes it for designers to keep up. Very, very interesting and a must-read for everybody who loves fashion.”

“‘Killing Monica,’ by Candace Bushnell. I always love her post-’Sex and the City’ novels. It’s a good summer beach read with a surprising twist.”
