Anticipation is building for the Christmas release of space film “Passengers” — and Jennifer Lawrence was on hand to promote it at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday night.
The actress wore an Altuzarra skirt and Sophia Webster “Arielle” black beaded sandals in an appearance with co-star Chris Pratt.
It isn’t the first time Lawrence has donned the British shoe designer for a big event. She wore the Rosalind Crystal Rose sandals for the Paris premiere of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” in November. The star also regularly dons Jimmy Choo, Aquazzura and, of course, Dior.
Her new flick is already getting major buzz. According to FN sister publication Variety, “The excerpts from ‘Passengers’ shown to movie exhibitors reveal Pratt and Lawrence as two unlikely space travelers, who have volunteered to make a 120-year journey to the Homestead Colony, a mission only possible because their bodies are suspended timelessly in ‘hibernation pods.’ The journey goes awry when Pratt’s and then Lawrence’s pods open prematurely and they are stranded on the spaceship Avalon, still 90 years from their destination.”

In a funny moment last night, Pratt accidentally dropped his mic on Lawrence’s foot. The co-stars appeared to have great chemistry onstage.
In total, Sony teased 12 films from its upcoming roster at CinemaCon.
