The Mood: Part fashion presentation, part art installation. Models stood on a raised stage in front of bare tree branches, which echoed the floral prints and autumn colors used in the clothes.
The Shoes: Taylor collaborated her ongoing relationship with Paul Andrew. Compared to their spring collection of botanical-themed lucite heels, the footwear was more minimal this season. Her signature mule, a style consistently offered in her collections, was done in suede, ponyhair and corduroy. The same shades of navy and pink were also done on pointy flats.
The Review: While we love a good collaboration, it would be fun to see Taylor partner with a new footwear designer next season — perhaps someone who less obviously falls in line with her aesthetic, like Bionda Castana or Brother Vellies.
