Schuh Imagines Crocs Collaborations With Lego, Gucci and More With Help From AI

With popular Crocs collaborations continuing to roll out, Scottish footwear retailer Schuh used AI program Midjourney to imagine what collaborations between Crocs and other brands could look like.

“Crocs has created a legacy for themselves. When the world of Crocs meets with AI, only the sky’s the limit to what possible collaborations might emerge,” said Daniel Barker, a senior buyer at Schuh.

Using the AI tool, Schuh predicted Crocs collaborations with luxury fashion houses like Gucci, as well as huge companies such as Netflix, Apple and Lego.

Meanwhile, AI mock-ups show a colorful and customizable Lego-inspired clog rendered from actual Lego bricks. “This partnership allows wearers to build and modify their footwear, creating a personalized and ever-evolving fashion statement,” Barker explains.

As for a Netflix collaboration, AI images reveal what a clog that pays homage to one of the streamer’s most popular series “Stranger Things” might look like.

“In its nature, Crocs is designed as a blank canvas. Whether through brand collaborations or Jibbitz charms, customization is at the core of the iconic clogs. And with that, the possibilities for future Crocs collaborations are as diverse as the imaginations that fuel them,” says Barker.

To date, some of Crocs’ most notable collaborations have seen the brand team up with high-end brands like Balenciaga and Simone Rocha as well as artists including Takashi Murakami, Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny and Post Malone.

Some of the latest collaborations from Crocs include the NBA, Patrick Star of “SpongeBob SquarePants” and the “Naruto” franchise.
