The mood: 1940s femme with a touch of “His Girl Friday.”

The shoes: Think mink. Cigar suede and croc-stamped strappy pumps came with their slender heels coated in fur. The almost-forgotten favorite fur these days (grazie, Gucci) was also on flat thong sandals and trimming transparent lacey gowns or circle-skirt coats.

The verdict: With fur often regulated to the front-of-house, shoe-wise, it was a lovely switch-up to see it create exit-impact.
