Sneaker lovers take note: DKNY‘s spring ’17 style could be the next big thing.
DKNY creative directors Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow — also masters of streetwear at their label Public School — showed rubber sneakers that had neoprene socks attached. The style was offered in ankle, knee and thigh-high versions in black, olive green, blue and nude.

The sneakers bring to mind Rick Owens’ stretch sneaker-boots for Adidas and even Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 2 knit boots, and tap into fashion’s current obsession with fitted boots (think Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid). Osborne and Chow showed the shoes with oversized tops and jackets, baggy joggers and hooded suits.
